North Pacific: Sea of Okhotsk and Bering Sea to Unalaska Island in the Aleutian chain and Fort Bragg, California, USA. Morphology: Dorsal spines (total): 0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 85 - 102; Anal spines: 0; Anal soft rays: 74 - 89. Dorsal and anal fins confluent to caudal; caudal narrowly rounded but not clearly distinguishable; pectorals almost rounded with lower 7 rays exerted; pelvic fins minute (Ref. 6885).
